Asia Food Show 2015 was carried out in Osaka. A total of 16 countries and regions including Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Australia, China, Turkey, Bangladesh, etc.
There is a strong need for offering HALAL food to increasing tourists visiting Japan, particularly Muslims, and more business negotiations were made in the three days compared to last year.
Buyers from Singapore mentioned, “I came to see the HALAL Washoku (Japanese dishes) Live Cooking. I have always felt that Japanese dishes and HALAL have high affinity, and so I am very excited to see a concrete example.”
Much focus is placed on the future of Japanese HALAL demonstrated in the food capital.
