R Inclusion Co., Ltd. (HQ: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Managing director: Yu Endo, hereinafter: RI) will cooperate with Halal Media Japan Co., Ltd. (HQ: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Akihiro Shugo, hereinafter: HMJ) to start transmitting information for Muslims visiting Japan.
It is said that approximately 20 million people visited Japan in 2015, and inbound business is attracting attention in Japan. Among those, Muslims visiting Japan is particularly attracting attention, and it is said that the number will increase to 1 million by 2020.
Arrangement of environment is being advanced in many perspectives for Muslim travelers visiting Japan to enjoy their travel in Japan without worry. Among these, HALAL-friendly service is attracting great attention mainly from restaurants.
In this service, the “portal website for Muslims” will be launched by bringing up the browser by “Muslim-SIM” provided by RI. Information on neighboring HALAL-friendly shops will be provided based on the location information of the travelers visiting Japan. In addition, services such as displaying prayer spaces, prayer time in Japan time, etc. will be provided for travelers to enjoy their travel in Japan without worries. Further, travelers are able to link to SNS such as Facebook, and post memories on their page.
The two companies will continue cooperating to upgrade and expand more contents, and support safe and convenient travel in Japan for foreign travelers to Japan.

■ What is Muslim-SIM?
“Muslim-SIM” is a service started by RI in April 1st, 2015 with a purpose of providing safety and convenience in Japan with increasing Muslims visiting Japan as the target. This service provides internet environment for Muslims visiting Japan, and supports convenient travelling by transmitting information allowing dining out, shopping, and sightseeing without worry. We would like to thereby play a role in aiming to make Japan a tourism-oriented country.
