Cozy atmosphere, great music, and good halal food, you can get all of it in Manhattan FISH MARKET

Traveling in Tokyo can be very tiring since he city is full of busy people moving very fast. In the middle of your journey in this skyscraper city, sometimes you need to take a break. Manhattan FISH MARKET, is one of my recommendations for Muslim tourist who want to have a short escape in the middle of Tokyo’s downtown.
Manhattan FISH MARKET (MFM) is a family restaurant which serves American-style seafood, such as the legendary Manhattan fish and chips. It has more than 60 restaurants around Asia and Middle-East includes Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, and Qatar. In Tokyo, you can find one of MFM restaurants at Ikebukuro. It can be reached by 3 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station (East Exit Gate).
Arriving at MFM, you will be greeted by friendly staff offering you a place to chill. I am very happy to see the halal certification announcement on the receptionist because it means that I can have a happy worry-free lunch and dinner in this restaurant. Although most of the menu is seafood, but you can also order for chicken meals in MFM. The chicken menu is also halal. The most ‘attractive’ menu must be the flaming platters where Sea-cret agents (that is how we call MFM staff) will flame the plate of platter just right in front of customers. But if you are on a low budget, you can choose Manhanttan Fish and Chips (Dory fish) for your lunch for only 480 JPY! It is at an affordable price and will make your stomach full enough.
Moreover, what I really love about MFM Ikebukuro is the cozy atmosphere where you can relax for a while in a busy Tokyo. The music playlist is great (most of them are western Top 40 songs), wifi connection is available, and you also can charge your cell phone! The prayer space is available with a prayer mat. The prayer space is extremely small, but it is fit for one person.
