Muslim welcome morning in Asakusa

Agora Place Asakusa started serving Muslim welcome morning plate for Muslim customers at the café and dining on the first floor, “Asakusa Grill Berg” from July 13th (Wednesday).

upon serving this “Muslim welcome morning plate”, they will offer foods made in “Samurai Kitchen,” which acquired Halal certificate and does catering and sales of Halal bento.

Disposable plates and cutlery are used so Muslim customers can enjoy their meals without worry. Also, menu for the normal breakfast buffet is written in multiple languages (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, English) and food ingredients used are displayed with food pictogram so anyone can tell apart foods prohibited due to religious reasons.

Further, Musilim-friendly souvenirs will be prepared along with rental of prayer mats and qibla compass, and “Muslim-friendly Map in Taito-ku” will be distributed.

Agora Place Asakusa will strive to become an institute contributing to the community while transmitting Japanese culture under their concept, “Style My Stay ~My travel style designed by me~”

Please bring (or purchase) a ticket for breakfast and make a reservation at the front desk by 17:00 of the day before your visit to have Halal menu that is not served in normal morning buffet.
