What is the feature of your company and the products?

We operate Japan’s first online Halal recipe website “Halal Recipe Japan”. We adapt Japanese family food recipes so that Muslim people can enjoy them too. Using seasonal ingredients and simple condiments as the base, our website provides healthy and affordable Japanese food recipes which everyone can simply create!
In addition, we also organise events and cooking classes where people can learn to prepare food suitable for Muslim people. Through these events, we want our Muslim friends to enjoy Japanese food culture in a friendly and fun environment, at the same time, we want to spread the message to Japanese people that “You don’t necessarily have to provide specially for Muslim people”.

What is the recommended way of eating/cooking/using it?

We would like to recommend the very cute “Temari sushi” lesson experience which can be prepared by people who are not good at cooking and even kids. Sushi is one of the very popular food item overseas. You can make your own sushi using fresh fish, and the people who come for this lesson enjoy it exceptionally.
We also offer a lot of recipes such as Shiratama Zenzai (sweet red bean soup with mochi rice cake), Warabi mochi (bracken starch snack with soy bean powder), and other Japanese traditional snacks. It is good for food education too, so please try it with your family.

What are you looking forward to in Halal Expo Japan 2016?

We will be happy if more people know about our activities, use our recipes and join our cooking classes. Specially for this EXPO, we are planning to introduce our very own original sweets. We will be glad if everyone can enjoy it.
