What is the feature of your company and the products?

The halal meat sold by our company is processed at a factory certified for halal use by Japan Halal Association. The meat products we deal with are all recognised by global halal certification authorities, and only include meat that are treated by Zabiha slaughter method (in line with the Islamic law).

Why did your company acquire Halal certification?

In recent years, there is an increase of inbound tourists from South East Asia, especially from Malaysia, Indonesia. The number of Muslims in South East Asia is significantly large, and one of their problems while travelling is food. With the track record of providing halal in-flight meals to Islamic airlines, our company started our own halal kitchen providing halal meals. The kitchen provides mainly for the Muslims at the Kansai International Airport, allowing them to consume the food with a peace of mind with its all-halal ingredients and food additives.
Halal certification enhances the trust of providing safe and delicious meals based on the correct halal knowledge. We hope this will help us in business expansion.

What is the recommended way of eating/cooking/using it?

About the halal meat which our company sells
Grilled flank meat cuts can be eaten simply and deliciously with salt and pepper.
Cuts of the top chucks can be used for many cuisines.
Sliced beef chucks can be used for Japanese cuisine such as sukiyaki and shabu shabu.
The beef tenderloin steak will be perfect for special occasions where you want a lavish dining setting. For the rest like minced beef/chicken and chicken leg can be used to prepare rice bowls etc.

What are you looking forward to in Halal Expo Japan 2016?

We would like more people to know about our company’s halal meat. Looking forward to Tokyo Olympics 2020, we also hope that we can aim to be a tourist-friendly country with the safe provision of halal food.
