What is the feature of your company and the products?
Yotsuba Milk is the bridge between Hokkaido dairy farmers and the customers in Japan. We want to create products with our message of providing “”delicious and safe Hokkaido milk products”.
Why did your company acquire Halal certification?
We obtained halal certification as we foresee the increase in Muslim tourists, and also the anticipation of exports into the Islamic countries.
What is the recommended way of eating/cooking/using it?
Our products that have obtained halal certification includes milk, yogurt, fresh cream, cheese, skim milk powder etc. For cheese, we have types like cheddar, which are used in western food restaurants (e.g. Gratin etc.) For milk and yogurt, you can mix it with granola and fruits to create a delicious dish.
What are you looking forward to in Halal Expo Japan 2016?
We would like Muslims, and people from the food, distribution and tourism industry to know about our halal products.
