Beppu, famous for Onsen or the Hot Springs and a home for the huge Muslim International Student body has a muslim friendly Ramen Shop called Ittoryu. The only ramen store in Beppu that sees Muslim customers enjoying the Japanese cuisine.
This time, our search using the Halal Gourmet Japan, took us to this new spot in the old town of Beppu and it was worth a visit. For those planning on visiting Beppu or live near by, Ittoryu is a great Ramen to try. Although, made using fish stock and soy milk, this ramen store has not acquired the Halal certificate but for sure has acquired the likes of many Muslims in Beppu and around.
