The owner is an Egyptian residing in Abu Dhabi, and owns two Japanese restaurants (halal) in Abu Dhabi as well as a travel agency. He has had good social relationship with Japanese people since 30 years ago, and opened Tutankhamen hoping to help Muslims living in Japan or Muslims travelling to Japan with finding a place to eat and for Japanese people to have better understanding of Egyptian food culture.
The sales point of the restaurant is that they are faithfully reproducing genuine Egyptian dishes.
The prices are reasonable so that anyone can try out the foods.
*They use selected ingredients to cook up dishes with mild spiciness such that children and adults of any nationality can enjoy.
*They also rent Pharaoh.
*Although the restaurant is not HALAL-certified, all food ingredients and seasonings are HALAL, and alcohol is not offered.
