The second Walk around tour in Asakusa for Muslim was held on April 29th, 2015.
Here for information on the first event.

Approximately 50 Muslim people living in Japan participated in this walk. Some girls wore kimonos and visited tourist attractions, experienced tea ceremony, and ate at stores serving food with halal choices based on “ASAKUSA MAP FOR MUSLIM.”
Check the ASAKUSA MAP FOR MUSLIM from here. Enjoy your time in Asakusa using this map.

This walk was held by HALAL MEDIA JAPAN with a purpose of promoting Asakusa, which is a cosmopolitan city, to the entire world, and thereby increasing tourist visits. There were many interviews by TV staffs and newspapers. Many participants said “I didn’t know there were so many stores in Asakusa with Muslim food choices.” We plan to held this event on a regular basis.
