Authentic Indian restaurant, VEGE HERB SAGA, acquires HALAL certificate

VEGE HERB SAGA in Okachimachi acquired HALAL certificate from Japan Halal Foundation managed by Okachimachi mosque. No smoking is allowed in the restaurant and they do not offer any alcohol.
The concept of the restaurant is to “Offer real local taste of Indian vegan food using only the best, freshest ingredients.” Their entire menu is Indian vegan (vegetarian dishes that do not use any animal food products, including milk). Of course, food ingredients are directly shipped from India. VEGE HERB SAGA offers the essence of North-south Indian cuisine to bring out umami and nutrition of vegetables and beans using the magic of herbs and spices. Please enjoy the local taste amusing many Indians living in Japan to your heart’s content.
Also, they do not use any pre-made. It takes some time until serving dishes for customers to enjoy fresh food. Indian vegan dishes is not only delicious, but will keep you beautiful from the inside.

VEGE HERB SAGA holds Indian cooking classes twice a month.
The next class will be held on January 31st (Sun) from 15:00, and the menu that will be taught is coconut rice and poriyal
The class is 3 hours long and costs 4500 yen per person, and 4000 yen per person if you decide join with a friend.
