Zura Ahmad who has built a name for herself as a respected international lifestyle magazine Editor in Malaysia.
While earning her experience in editorial field for almost a decade; she has worked with many top notch Malaysian hijabi celebrities, personalities and influencers; Yuna, Mizz Nina, Shila Amzah, Ziana Zain, and Ameera Zaini for cover shoots and fashion spreads. In 2014, Zura has invited as the official hijab stylist at TV9 Hijabstailista Season 2, a Malaysia’s muslimah fashion TV programme for over 20 episodes.
She worked in the magazine world for several years, but at a certain point, she couldn’t help but feel like something was missing.
It was then that Zura followed her creative instincts and returned to a collaborative life on set with fellow photographers, models, influencers, and of course, racks and racks of amazing hijabs and clothes. This is where she discovered her love for creating modest fashion editorials on her own blogazine ATIYA.my.
Known as the creative hijab and fashion stylist who made “hijabs that were complicated look super easy to style,” Zura always knew she was passionate about styling.
With the network that she gained from the experiences, Zura has represented quite a number of modest fashion brands as their International Relations Advisor for both Malaysia and United Kingdom modest fashion market. Zura recently featured in many Malaysia prints, digital, electronic media and recently has been featured in British Muslim TV and Islam Channel UK.
